Seven weeks into the semester, and the robotic repetition of school life has turned into hell on earth. The shadows of the school library have become your new home. Between studying for exams, writing papers in the final minutes before they're due, and endless group project meetings, you've become nothing but a caffeine-filled shell of a human being. The key to survival is no longer the basics of food and sleep (since you can no longer afford either of these luxuries), but rather it is the dream of white sandy beaches and an icy, umbrella-embellished, brightly colored beverage...

It is the dream of the Spring Break.
A tropical vacation filled with incessant partying may sound a little cliche, but it's one that all college students should experience without shame. After a week in Cancun, I'm finally starting to catch up on sleep and sobriety. To say the past seven days have left me in a dissociated stupor would be an understatement. The only words I could muster right now is that it was the best week ever.
Expect more break-related posts to come, once my brain is capable of functioning relatively normally.
