There's a certain element about senior year of college that ignites a sense of impending doom, creating a "live each day as though it were your last" mantra for all graduating seniors to live by.
Seven months ago, my friends and I developed an unofficial senior year Bucket List and pledged to make sure it was the most ridiculous heathenistic experience any of us had ever known or heard of.

| Which launched quite the internal fight between good and evil |
But even as my morally-charged internal dialogue battled with my need to have the ultimate senior year experience, at the end of it all, I've come to one conclusion.
No matter what we do, and no matter how much fun we try to squeeze into our final days here at the University of Delaware, we have to accept the inevitable.
We are going to have to leave.
So whether you're 18 and heading off to college for the first time, or 40 and re-learning what it means to have that youthful spirit, it seems as though we're all looking for the best way to enjoy life and delay whatever it is we're saying goodbye to.
For me, right now, it's the end of college. But I know there's much more of life to enjoy, and there are a variety of reasons (beyond the salt-adorned rim of my glistening margarita glass) as to why we can all enjoy it.
It just may take a few painful goodbyes and a little soul searching to find it.
